Where you'll be

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. RECOMMENDATIONS:

*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

The beds were comfortable, the living space was spacious, the hot tub was amazing, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Our grandkids LOVED the bunk room and many of us enjoyed the pool table. We also loved the long kitchen table where all 12 of us could sit together. We enjoyed a couple of scenic walks in the area and rode up on the ski lift to the top of the mountain. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here again!

It was great for hosting our large group and would definitely recommend it! We also really loved having access to the dial-a-ride shuttle service, who were very accommodating and helped us get to dinner and other places at the resort. A great weekend!
