Welcome to Terrapin Station – for those who’d rather chase first chair, last light, and a good soak under the stars than hang out in a lobby. This rare 1BR/2BA corner townhome (4 guests max + 1 pup) sits in Tamarack Resort’s quiet Clearwater neighborhood with true SKI IN/SKI OUT access to the Buttercup Chairlift. No shuttles. No parking-lot shuffle. Step out the door, snap in, and send it. Think: a touch of Grateful Dead funk, a lot of fresh air, and everything you actually need.

Terrapin Station is the perfect bungalow for couples, solos, and small crews who’d rather be outside than standing in a condo elevator line. With only a few 1BR townhomes available in Tamarack Resort, it's the ideal option for guests looking for more privacy, more quiet, and a vibe that's more “your own place":

You’re in Tamarack Resort’s serene Clearwater neighborhood, surrounded by trees but close to the action:

 

• Ski-in/ski-out to Buttercup Chairlift

• Less than 5-minute drive to Tamarack’s Village for restaurants, bars, rentals, events, lake access, and more

• This spot is for people who want out-the-door access to the mountain more than they want a buzzy village scene right underneath them.

 

PARKING

• Guests do not have access to the detached garage

• 1 driveway parking space in the driveway

• 2 guest parking spots next to the home (first-come, first-served)

• Oversized vehicles/boats: parking permits may be available from Tamarack Outfitters for their oversized lot – call ahead to confirm and reserve

Where you'll be

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

*If you're traveling in winter or you plan to enjoy the many off-roading adventures available in Valley County, we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle.

    Beautiful property and very nice/clean. Hosts were very responsive and thought of everything. The hot tub was amazing and set back for privacy. Close to McCall, minutes from Lake Cascade, and a short walk to the chairlift if you’re staying here during winter. We would definitely stay here again. Bonus points for being dog friendly too!

    The hot tub was extremely welcome after riding! Comfy bed and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner. Hosts had great communication and were flexible with our check-out. Would definitely stay here again next time we're back to ride more.

    Our hosts were extremely prompt and friendly in their responses, and granted us an early check in. We were greeted with a lovely basket of snacks and some drinks. The home was clean and well equipped. We messaged our hosts as the jacuzzi didn’t seem to be heating and they were out within the hour and kindly showed us how to get the heat working. We can’t wait to go back to this home again sometime soon! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

    The house fit 4 of us comfortably and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a ski vacation. The house is truly a ski in/ski out with a short walk to a lift and you can almost ski right up to the door! There are designated shuttles that can take you from the village to the rental, so you don’t have to worry about getting home if you started the day walking to the lift. The house was clean, kitchen had everything you need, and plenty of hot water. The private hot tub is the cherry on top that makes this an amazing rental.

    My wife and I have stayed in 50+ rental homes or condos in the last 5 years. Terrapin Station @ Tamarack provided all we want when we travel. 1. Location a a peaceful and beautiful setting. Tamarack sits at the base of a mountain that offers so much winter enjoyment. 2. Clean and comfortable living spaces. The condo had everything we want and need. Very comfortable bed, extra pillows and blankets, crystal clear and clean hot tub, outdoor seating on the back deck, coffee, filter, nice dinnerware and basic spices. 3. Communication. The owners/managers provided timely updates and confirmations throughout the process. Their online guestbook was the best we have seen. We will be back this summer!

    We loved this condo, it was perfect for our New Years getaway! Everything was clean and organized, with clear directions on how to operate things. It was fully stocked with anything we would have needed. We arrived to a goodie box filled with snacks, coffee, and a nice welcome note! The condo is just steps away from the ButterCup Chairlift, super easy ski and and ski-out. The hot tub was sparkling clean, and very relaxing after a day on the slopes. Thank you, we will be back!
